About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to lead our charity shop in Llantwit Major. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a brilliant shopping experience for our customers, while also driving sales and achieving financial targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Work closely with the British Red Cross team to promote the charity's mission and values.
  • Manage the shop floor, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the shop runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Proven retail experience at supervisory level, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and volunteers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of the British Red Cross and its mission, with a passion for promoting the charity's values and goals.
