About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to lead our charity shop in Llantwit Major. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team of staff and volunteers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team that provides a world-class shopping experience for customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve financial targets and drive sales growth.
  • Design and implement effective store layouts and visual merchandising to enhance customer engagement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff and volunteers.
  • Represent the British Red Cross in a professional and positive manner, embodying our core values.
Requirements
  • Proven retail experience at supervisory level, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and volunteers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and ability to use technology to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
