We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our friendly charity shop in Llantwit Major. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for providing a brilliant shopping experience for our customers, working on the shop floor, and coordinating activities behind the scenes. You will also be responsible for achieving financial targets, inducting, training, and managing new staff and volunteers, and representing the British Red Cross to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team that provides exceptional customer service and achieves sales targets.
  • Work on the shop floor, coordinating activities, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Design and implement effective store layouts and displays to promote our cause.
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to achieve financial targets.
  • Represent the British Red Cross in the community, promoting our values and mission.
Requirements
  • Proven retail experience at supervisory level, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team, with strong leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience using a PC and relevant software.
  • Passion for the British Red Cross cause and commitment to promoting our values and mission.
