Team Overview:

Become part of our innovative SAP Enterprise Architects team within the SAP Customer Services & Delivery board. We spearhead digital transformation initiatives utilizing advanced SAP technologies, advancing the RISE with SAP strategy, endorsing Clean Core principles, and promoting the adoption of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Our objective is to streamline and modernize IT infrastructures, minimizing complexity and operational expenses while driving innovation and efficiency to meet changing business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for crafting a detailed enterprise architecture framework for our clients that aligns with their strategic objectives. You will collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation ally and lead initiatives such as:

  • Guiding clients through their cloud transformation journey, focusing on adoption and scaling digitally.
  • Providing enterprise architecture insights using the RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to maximize the benefits of SAP's cloud capabilities.
  • Acting as a Transformation Partner for C-level executives, enhancing architectural effectiveness.
  • Facilitating adoption by identifying and addressing technical risks.
  • Aligning clients and partners with SAP's Clean Core strategy, accelerating BTP adoption, and advocating for SAP best practices.
  • Enhancing customer engagement by providing relevant context to all teams.
  • Communicating the value of the proposed target architecture and outlining potential transition steps while guiding the realization of identified benefits.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to ensure secure, reliable, and adaptable cloud environments for critical business processes.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect), with a proven track record in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAP Solution Portfolio and the Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star).
  • Experience with Business Technology Platform components (application development, automation, data and analytics, integration, AI) and practical experience with S/4HANA applications.
  • Strong grasp of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, along with familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.
  • Understanding of SAP's Business AI roadmap, including identifying use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with on-premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
  • Professional training and certifications (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) are advantageous.
