About the Role:
This is a challenging opportunity to join CBRE Enterprise EMEA as a skilled Maintenance Electrician. As a key member of our Engineering and Technical Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities' electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including new installations of equipment.
- Inspect, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
- Ensure that equipment is being maintained and operated in a safe manner, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Provide efficient and reliable service to our customers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
- Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred. Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes. Valid Driver's license required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as the ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
