Maintenance Electrician Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Contract Type: Temporary

Industry: Building Services

Salary: Paid weekly

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at 4Recruitment Services. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for providing a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide attendance to reactive and pre-planned maintenance (PPM) service requests within agreed SLA.
  2. Carry out modifications and installations as and when required.
  3. Liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required.
  4. Ensure that work is carried out to a high standard of quality and in line with current legal standards, company policies, and procedures.
  5. Maximise availability of all mechanical and electrical equipment through continuous improvement, optimum performance, and cost reductions.
  6. Maintain equipment supported by sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  7. Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to optimise both reliability and maintainability.
  8. Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators (KPI) and service level agreements.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with experience in a similar role. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
