Senior Cinematic Artist

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cinematic Artist to join our Firesprite studio, where you'll be responsible for crafting high-quality in-game cinematic sequences for our story-driven 'Dark Horror Narrative Adventure' project.

About the Role

This is an ambitious, AAA project that pushes the boundaries of next-generation hardware technologies. As a Senior, you'll lead the cinematic team, establishing and driving pipelines, processes, and methodologies to ensure exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build high-quality cinematic sequences using cinematography, camera animation, and editing skills.
  • Develop and implement cinematic storytelling principles, cinematic language, and visual storytelling theory in an interactive medium.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve technical challenges and push project quality.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality cinematic content.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and cinematography skills, focusing on framing, shot selection, scene composition, camera animation, and editing.
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer, MotionBuilder, Maya, or equivalent 3D programs.
  • Excellent framing and animation skills for cinematic cameras.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software.
  • Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling principles and visual storytelling theory.
