We're looking for a Senior Cinematic Artist to craft high-quality in-game cinematic sequences for a story-driven 'Dark Horror Narrative Adventure.' This AAA project focuses on atmosphere, storytelling, player agency, and immersion on next-generation hardware technologies. As a Senior, you'll work closely with the Cinematography Director and team members to develop cinematics from previs to final production. You'll also train and help junior colleagues, providing solutions to pipeline problems. Ideally, we'd love individuals to be based in the studio for 1-3 days per week, but we consider remote working in the UK. Your responsibilities will include building high-quality cinematic sequences, maintaining and developing cinematics in a highly iterative environment, establishing pipelines and processes, planning and prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, and supervising junior team members. We're looking for an experienced Cinematic Artist with a portfolio showcasing visual storytelling and cinematography skills. You should have a great working knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer, MotionBuilder, Maya, or equivalent 3D programs. Excellent framing and animation skills for cinematic cameras are essential. A deep understanding of cinematic storytelling principles, cinematic language, literacy, and visual storytelling theory in an interactive medium is also required.
