Community Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for individuals with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop care plans for individuals with complex mental health needs
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
- Advocate for service users, carers, and families
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
- Experience of working with adolescents and young people experiencing psychosis
- Knowledge of government legislation and policy guidance pertaining to EIP and Mental Health
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement programmes of care with service user and carer involvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
