Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our West Mental Health & Wellness Team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and guidance to our staff, working directly with adults and their families to deliver high-quality mental health care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
  • Work directly with adults and their families, liaising with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals as needed
  • Participate in the on-call rota, with a 3% on-call supplement
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member
Person Specification
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
