Job Summary

Mental Health Consultant for Adults

We are seeking a skilled Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in North East London. As a mental health consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adults with mental health needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to adults with mental health needs.
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  • Work directly with adults and their families, and liaise with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, with a 3% on-call supplement.

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • CCT or equivalent.
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
