The Company

In light of their ambitious growth strategy, SRS Group Holdings Ltd is looking to recruit a Sales Operations Manager based in Birmingham B38.


The organization is prepared to offer a highly competitive salary package that includes an attractive base salary along with an exceptional rewards program to ensure that high performers are duly recognized.

The Role

  • Reports to: Branch Manager (Birmingham).
  • Indirectly reports to: UK Sales Director.
  • Overseeing a dynamic sales office to ensure that all sales processes and operations are executed effectively, providing an outstanding customer experience. Taking charge of the commercial strategy, including guidance on margin optimization to deliver customer value and appropriate returns for the organization.
  • Mentoring, developing, and supporting the sales team to enhance their performance and knowledge.
  • Actively demonstrating best practices in selling insulation, drylining, and related products to merchant and contractor channels.
  • Maximizing the branch's customer ledger while pursuing new business opportunities in targeted markets.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to support the branch's objectives and assist the branch manager in achieving overall operational effectiveness.
Must Have Attributes

  • A strong desire and determination to enhance revenue streams from existing clients and identify new business opportunities through proactive team leadership and personal contributions.
  • Commercially savvy with a proven track record of managing profit margins.
  • Effective relationship builder, both externally (with customers and suppliers) and internally.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop team members to their fullest potential.
  • Solid sales knowledge of insulation or drylining systems.
  • Experience in managing a personal minimum annual sales target of £1m.
  • A commendable work ethic and a collaborative team player.
  • A commitment to excellence in all sales and customer-related activities.
  • Strong sales administration skills, including quote management, CRM systems, and scheduling.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a rapidly changing commercial environment.
  • Enjoys the satisfaction of meeting sales and margin objectives.
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and competitive, yet ethical.
  • Initiative and resourcefulness.

Location Birmingham

Salary:
Up to £45,000 based on experience.

Commission:
£9,000 p.a. OTE, potentially increasing to £22,500 for achieving stretch targets (paid monthly).

Other Benefits:
Pension scheme, 21 days holiday plus statutory.
