Key Responsibilities

A remarkable position has become available within the Project Management Team at the NIHR Clinical Research Facility. You will collaborate with a group of passionate professionals who facilitate the execution of clinical research within the facility. Your role will encompass a variety of services for the Clinical Research Facility, including the initiation of clinical trials, coordination of trials, management of data, and training on database systems.

Job Duties

- Assist local investigators and research nurses with the setup of studies in the NIHR CRF.

- Serve as the primary contact for study sponsors and coordinate site initiation and monitoring visits.

- Lead recruitment efforts for assigned studies, which includes developing recruitment strategies and conducting activities to ensure timely and targeted enrollment in trials.

You should possess a strong motivation to work in research and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. The ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team is essential. You must be capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and managing deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications and Training Required

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Relevant Experience

Essential Experience

  • Background in research.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications for data management and analysis, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Relevant experience in conducting or organizing research activities.
  • Familiarity with current legislation regarding research governance.
  • ICH/GCP certification.

Desirable Experience

  • Background in healthcare.
  • Recent experience within the NHS.
