The Role:

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistants, Carers, and Support Workers to join our team in Ashford. As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients in the local area.

Key Details:

  • Shifts: 8-12 hours at night, caring for one pediatric client per shift.
  • Schedule: Fixed rota with overtime options.

Essential Experience:

All our team members receive a comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients. This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as tracheostomy management and gastrostomy.

  • PEG feeding
  • Oral suctioning
  • Tracheostomy care (preferred but not essential)
  • Ventilation
  • Epilepsy

Requirements:

  • Previous care experience, including personal care, is essential
  • Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your vehicle are essential
