Job Description

**Job Title:** Residential Support Worker - UAS Children's Service

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Kent County Council's Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking (UAS) Children's Service. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to UAS children in our residential settings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide direct support and care to UAS children in our residential settings
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  • Manage routines, set goals, and facilitate a learning culture in the centre
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children during their early stages in the UK

**Requirements:**

  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
