About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Play Leader to join our team at Let's Play, a leading childcare provider in the South East of England and The Midlands. As a Play Leader, you will be responsible for leading a variety of fun-filled activities at our Fun Week programme in the school holidays at Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stroud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate your team to deliver the programme to a high standard.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, the staffing team, and the Directors regularly.
  • Ensure sessions delivered are challenging, realistic, and fun for primary-aged children.
  • Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.
  • Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.
  • Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is: Fun, Inclusive & Educational.
  • Understand the individual needs of the staff and children in our care and challenge/engage them appropriately.
  • Deal with any first aid/emergency situation.
  • Be approachable in liaising with parents/carers.
  • Be committed to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your ability.
  • Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
Requirements
  • Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
  • Has experience working at children's holiday camps and/or a childcare setting.
  • Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and general practice.
  • Punctual, Reliable & Committed.
  • Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children.
  • Strong communication & organisational skills.
  • Able to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.
