About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Play Leader to join our team at Let Me Play, a leading childcare provider in the South East of England and The Midlands. As a Play Leader, you will be responsible for leading a variety of fun-filled activities at our holiday camps, catering to children aged 5-12.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver a high-quality programme of activities.
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and directors to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Design and deliver engaging and challenging activities that meet the needs of primary-aged children.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social interaction and skill development.
  • Deliver coaching programmes to a high standard, consistently adhering to our coaching philosophy of Fun, Inclusive, and Educational.
  • Understand and respond to the individual needs of staff and children, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Deal with first aid and emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and directors, ensuring a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children in a holiday camp or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging activities that meet the needs of primary-aged children.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering high-quality programmes.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
