About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach to lead our Fun Week programme at Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stroud. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of sports activities to children aged 5-12 years old, ensuring a fun, inclusive, and educational experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate your team to deliver the programme to a high standard.
  • Liaise with parents, staff, and directors on a regular basis.
  • Ensure sessions are challenging, realistic, and fun for primary-aged children.
  • Create a positive learning environment for children in our care.
  • Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.
  • Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is Fun, Inclusive & Educational.
  • Understand individual needs of staff and children and challenge/engage them appropriately.
  • Deal with first aid/emergency situations.
  • Be approachable in liaising with parents.
  • Be committed to delivering every session to the best of your ability.
  • Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
