Senior Specialist Clinical Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Clinical Fellow to join our team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor with a passion for critical care to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the provision of high-quality critical care services to patients across our trust, working closely with colleagues in anaesthetics and other clinical departments.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
- Act as a team leader for emergency out-of-hours resident on-call cover for critical care medicine, providing expert guidance and support to junior staff.
- Contribute to postgraduate and continuing education for medical, nursing, and technical staff, sharing expertise and best practices in critical care.

Requirements- 3 years of experience in Intensive Care Unit (ITU) with at least one year's experience in UK hospitals with UK referees.
- Any of the following exams: FICM, EDICM, FRCA, MRCP.
- Ability to perform rapid sequence intubation without supervision in both adults and children.
- ATLS or PALS course.
- Structured evidence in domains of leadership & management, clinical governance, or teaching/training.
- Critical care ultrasound or echo cardiography skills.
