About the Role:

  • Develop and Implement Support Plans: Work with service users to develop and implement tailored support plans to meet their individual needs and goals.
  • Engage with Referral Agencies: Establish and maintain relationships with referral agencies to generate service referrals and ensure a steady flow of new service users.
  • Provide Practical Support: Support service users with practical tasks and life skills development, such as managing finances, accessing benefits, and maintaining tenancies.
  • Manage Properties: Ensure properties are adequately maintained and re-let promptly, maximizing rent collection and minimizing void periods.
  • Collaborate with Multi-Agency Partners: Work closely with external agencies, such as social services, healthcare providers, and benefit agencies, to ensure holistic service delivery and achieve positive outcomes for service users.
  • Safeguarding and Data Protection: Adhere to safeguarding and data protection protocols to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of service user information.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar support role, working with vulnerable individuals in housing settings.
  • Skills: Strong communication and engagement skills, knowledge of welfare benefits and tenancy management, ability to collaborate effectively with external agencies, and competency in maintaining accurate records and reporting outcomes.

Contract Details:

  • Hours of Work: 35 hours (paid), 5 hours lunch (unpaid) Mon - Fri, with occasional Saturdays expected.
  • Contract Length: 3 Month Contract (Likely to Extend).
