Qualifications and Experience Required
- NMC Registered Nurse.
- Post-registration qualification in Oncology or willingness to pursue.
- Advanced practitioner status through formal qualifications or extensive clinical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of qualified nursing experience, including 2 years at Band 6 level.
- Demonstrated experience in managing breast cancer patients or relevant transferable skills.
- Experience in patient education and health promotion.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with patients and the multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of current clinical management options for breast cancer.
- Understanding of professional issues and clinical governance in the specialty.
