Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Hca Cancer Network, working across our London locations. As a key member of our Breast CNS team, you will provide high-quality cancer nursing services to patients throughout their diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Breast surgeons and forms part of the wider Breast CNS team.
  • Provide a high-quality cancer nursing service to patients throughout their diagnosis and treatment.
  • Take a key role in supporting the patients during their treatment and are an important member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Be a critical and consistent contact point for patients who will often need to interact with different parts of the hospital in order to receive optimal treatment.

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience.
  • Considerable post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting within Breast Care.
  • Master's degree (or working towards) in relevant field/or equivalent/higher postgraduate qualification.
  • Experience in managing complex and difficult emotional situations.
