Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative clinician to provide clinical and strategic team leadership and management to the Wheelchairs Service at Wiltshire Health and Care LLP. As a Service Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, creating a culture of teamwork and innovation, and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a clinical team of 6 staff, providing clinical expertise in supporting patients with long-term conditions in the community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Services to develop leadership and management skills.
  • Manage and oversee the performance of the service, including budget management and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health policies and legislation.
Requirements
  • Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP) or Nurse with active Registration.
  • BSc or equivalent in a relevant Clinical Professional area.
  • Evidence of post-graduate CPD.
  • Significant post-graduate experience in community healthcare and long-term conditions.
  • Experience of leading and managing clinical teams, including HR and professional management.
