Job Title: Clinical Lead Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead Specialist to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality specialist therapy services to carers of looked-after and adopted children supported by Children's Social Care and Adoption West.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist therapy services to carers of looked-after and adopted children
  • Consult and support team members across Children's Social Care and Adoption West
  • Provide training to staff in Children's Social Care
  • Attend strategy and multi-agency meetings for young people identified as open to the Wiltshire In-Reach team
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures
  • Utilise research skills for audit and contribute to research and training within the areas served by the teams and service
  • Be involved in the development of this service as appropriate
Requirements:
  • Registered RMN, OT, Social Worker or Psychological Therapist
  • Experience of working with young people who are known to Children's Social Care and present with complex needs
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Safeguarding Children legislation and guidance
  • Experience of teaching, facilitating and formal training course planning/management at undergraduate and post-graduate levels
  • Ability to problem-solve complex situations
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills for delivering key messages to a range of stakeholders
