About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Wiltshire Health and Care LLP as a Clinical Service Lead - Wheelchair Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and strategic leadership to the Wheelchairs Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients across Wiltshire.

The successful candidate will have significant post-graduate experience in community healthcare and long-term conditions, with a strong background in leadership and management. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, creating a culture of teamwork and innovation, and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and strategic leadership to the Wheelchairs Service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes
  • Manage and oversee the performance of the clinical team, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to promote the service and secure funding and resources
Requirements
  • Registered Allied Health Professional (AHP) or Nurse with active Registration
  • BSc or equivalent in relevant Clinical Professional area
  • Experience of leading and managing clinical teams, including HR and professional management
  • Experience of recruitment and induction of new staff
  • Evidence of change management and service development
  • Good working knowledge of neurological or long-term conditions
