Customer Service Team Lead

We're looking for a Customer Team Leader to join our team at Co-op Digital. As a Customer Team Leader, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. You'll help lead the store team – coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store.
Key Responsibilities- Friendly and Thoughtful Service – You'll give friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, working in our in-store bakery often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations.
- Develop Your Team's Capabilities – You'll develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected.
- Store Safety and Operations – You'll make sure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
- Stock Accuracy and Customer Experience – You'll manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers.
- Support Your Store Manager – You'll support your store manager by deputising when they're not working and delivering a variety of HR processes.
- Introducing New Products and Services – You'll lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store – work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback.
- Community Engagement – You'll build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
- A Genuine Care for Customers – You'll have a genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
- Leadership and Support – You'll be able to strike a balance between leading and supporting your team and rolling up your sleeves on the shop floor.
