Clinical Trauma Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Trauma Specialist to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, you will play a vital role in providing specialist assessments and interventions to children and young people who have experienced significant trauma.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based assessments and interventions to children and young people with complex trauma and moderate to severe mental health needs.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, and Social Workers, to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Contribute to the development of policies, protocols, and patient care pathways to improve service delivery and outcomes.
- Participate in research and training initiatives to advance the field of trauma and mental health.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Registered RMN, OT, Social Worker, or Psychological Therapist qualifications.
- Advanced clinical skills and therapeutic experience in trauma, acute mental health presentations, and risk management.
- Specialist training and experience in delivering evidence-based trauma interventions, such as VIG, EMDR, or Psychotherapy.
- Continuing registration with the relevant professional body.
