Key Responsibilities of the Care Services Manager include:
- Deliver leadership, management, and the highest level of support to the team, ensuring optimal outcomes in all operations.
- Take ownership of achieving the highest standards of compliance with regulations, laws, quality benchmarks, and policies.
- Ensure effective staff training is conducted and that high-quality care services are consistently delivered to vulnerable individuals in their homes.
- Oversee scheduling to ensure care assistants provide the designated care to clients.
- Manage quality assurance and governance through regular Spot Checks, Service Reviews, Internal Audits, and Annual Surveys.
- Continuously enhance Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Support Plans to ensure client outcomes are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Ensure the emergency on-call mobile phone is managed outside of standard office hours, including participating in the on-call rota.
- Perform additional duties to support the Managing Director as required to meet business needs, including covering Carer responsibilities when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience required for our Care Services Manager:
- Possess, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC assessment criteria for achieving Good and Outstanding ratings
- Management experience in service delivery within domiciliary care
- Proven experience in managing personnel
