About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care staff are working effectively and efficiently to deliver high-quality care.
  • Case Management: Manage resident cases, liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer and record medication as required, ensuring that all medication is handled and stored safely.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Support and Development: Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Service Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and improve services, ensuring that they meet the needs of our residents.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Care Planning: Good understanding of care planning processes and ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Experienced in or willing to undertake training on administering medication.
