Key Responsibilities of the Care Services Manager include:
- Deliver leadership, management, and the highest level of support to the team, ensuring optimal outcomes in all endeavors.
- Take ownership of achieving the highest levels of compliance with regulations, laws, quality standards, and policies.
- Ensure the implementation of staff training and the consistent delivery of high-quality care services to vulnerable individuals in their homes.
- Design effective scheduling to guarantee that care assistants provide the designated care to clients.
- Oversee quality assurance and governance through regular Spot Checks, Service Reviews, Internal Audits, and Annual Surveys.
- Continuously improve Assessments, Risk Assessments, and Support Plans to ensure client outcomes are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Ensure coverage of the emergency on-call mobile phone outside of regular office hours, including participation in the on-call rota.
- Perform additional duties to support the Managing Director as needed to fulfill business requirements, including stepping in for Carer duties when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience required for our Care Services Manager:
- Possess, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC assessment criteria for achieving Good and Outstanding ratings
- Management experience in service provision within domiciliary care
- Proven experience in managing personnel
