About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Human Resources Partner to join our team at Jellycat. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the business growth strategy and activities in the APAC and EMEA regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full cycle international Human Resources support to our management and employees across their designated regions.
  • Work closely with the Head of People to support the business growth strategy and activities in the APAC and EMEA regions.
  • Partner with functional leaders/managers and other HR stakeholders to maximize their effectiveness in leading highly successful and engaged teams.
  • Support and advise leaders across the business (UK and APAC) on the implementation and execution of People initiatives and processes as aligned with the talent needs of the business.
  • Drive employee engagement and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local international employment laws.
  • Partner with and support the Global Production Director and Commercial Director to drive best practice and compliance in our regions and alignment with Jellycat guidelines and practices.
  • Assist the Head of People with the reporting of key HR KPIs/metrics.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Manage all grievance, disciplinary and other employee relations cases, liaising with international employment lawyers where required.
  • Coach line managers on the people performance management cycle.
  • Develop line manager capability through coaching and training.
  • Effectively use the People Management Platform, ensuring it is used effectively by the business.
  • Assist the Head of People with People Projects as and when necessary.
Requirements
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of Employment Law in our key international regions.
  • Experience working with internal and external legal support.
  • Previous experience of working with HR systems, MS Office.
  • A personable and efficient manner, reflective of the Jellycat brand.
  • Confidence when handling sensitive and/or confidential material strictly in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • A track record of effective employee relations case management.
  • Experience handling change management is highly advantageous.
