Pfizer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Manager of Business Process Improvement. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex projects across the division, developing and managing plans to achieve objectives, and applying operational and technical skills and knowledge to support and services in the areas of business analysis, support, services, user acceptance testing, information quality, accuracy, and business process efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop ideas, lead projects across sub-divisions, and develop and manage plans to achieve objectives.
- Apply operational and technical skills and knowledge to assist support and services in the areas of business analysis, support, services, user acceptance testing, information quality, accuracy, and business process efficiencies.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to simplify and improve system use and system management, including opportunities for data automation and system integrations.
- Partner with the project manager to assess the impact of changes in requirements on the project scope and timelines.
- Utilize specific techniques to elicit requirements from stakeholders, analyze and validate the resulting requirements, and secure agreement on the requirements across stakeholders.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) with higher academic qualification/degree preferred and/or equivalent relevant professional experience within Pharma or CRO.
- At least 7 years of experience in the Pharma industry with a preferred focus on drug development processes and operations.
- At least 7 years of experience using process analysis principles, concepts, and theories across medium and large initiatives.
- Outstanding communications skills, both oral and written, capable of building process flow diagrams and effectively summarizing abstract concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently on most assignments, some self-initiated, using knowledge, experience, and expertise to achieve desired results.
- Ability to lead change initiatives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and comfort with operating in situations with ambiguity and white space.
- Robust understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry, clinical trial conduct, regulatory, safety, and GXP.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Master's degree.
- At least 4 years of strategy or operational consulting experience.
- Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience working with applications in Marketing, Medical, Clinical, Pricing/Market Access, or real-world data.
- Hands-on Service Delivery, Program Delivery, and Operations experience desirable.
