Position Available: Certified Building Compliance Officer (Class 2 or 3)

Panoramic Associates is collaborating with a Local Authority in Leicestershire to seek a Certified Building Compliance Officer (Class 2 or 3) for a contract opportunity. This position offers a competitive remuneration of £75.00 per hour (inside IR35), commensurate with your qualifications and registration level.

In the role of Building Compliance Officer, you will manage a specific geographical area, performing proactive assessments of building regulations and conducting site evaluations. You will also be instrumental in developing strong partnerships with clients while ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards across diverse projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive site evaluations of structures under development or renovation, collaborating closely with developers and contractors to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
  • Analyze and evaluate plans for regulatory conformity.
  • Efficiently organize your workload, planning to deliver a responsive and professional service with a focus on maximizing site engagement.
  • Thoroughly document inspection findings in the database and relay results to clients.
  • Maintain continuous communication with surveyors and management regarding technical issues to uphold standards and follow procedures.
  • Provide technical support and advice to developers, clients, and contractors.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary while nurturing and enhancing professional relationships.
