**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring our company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee and assist senior management in ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and develop strategies to address them.
  • Receive and assess all internal Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and ensure timely reporting to regulatory authorities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure all employees understand their compliance responsibilities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our company's compliance framework.
  • Ensure that our company consistently operates within all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Advise on changes in laws and regulations and ensure our company's compliance standards are up-to-date.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory returns and reports to the FCA and PRA.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all compliance-related activities.
  • Ensure that our company's complaints procedures are followed and reports are made to the FCA as necessary.
  • Monitor and record our company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies as necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Manage the Financial Crime and Compliance function.
  • Prepare and present the annual compliance report.
  • Be an active member of the Executive Risk Committee.

**Requirements**

  • Experience in compliance and regulatory affairs, with a strong understanding of relevant UK regulatory requirements.
  • Substantial experience operating at a senior level, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Detailed understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory requirements.
