About the Role

We're seeking a talented Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Schuh Rushden Lakes. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop your team to achieve exceptional results
  • Lead by example, managing junior managers and sales teams
  • Nurture a culture of delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Recruit and train new talent to join our team
  • Set goals, achieve targets, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Strive for operational excellence in all aspects of store management
  • Celebrate team achievements and promote the Schuh brand
  • Create engaging store displays and make commercial decisions within our visual merchandising guidelines
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, ambitious, and ready to take on new challenges. You'll be optimistic, energetic, and passionate about retail, customer service, and footwear. As a leader, you'll motivate your team, drive results, and have a keen eye for detail and commerciality.
