About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Schuh Rushden Lakes. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
  • Lead by example, managing junior managers and sales teams to achieve operational excellence
  • Nurture a culture of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth
  • Recruit, train, and develop new talent to join our team
  • Set goals, achieve targets, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business success
  • Strive for operational excellence, celebrating achievements and promoting the Schuh brand
  • Create exciting new store displays, making commercial decisions within visual merchandising guidelines
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and optimistic individual who is passionate about retail, customer service, and footwear. As a Deputy Store Manager, you will be a natural leader, able to motivate and inspire your team to achieve exceptional results. You will be target-driven, with a keen eye for detail and commerciality, and a proven track record of leadership.
