Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Lead to join our team at Allen & York. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the water sector, particularly Water Resources East, in their efforts to promote sustainability and protect the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Stakeholder Engagement Program: Direct day-to-day leadership of a stakeholder engagement program that successfully delivers Environmental Destination investigations, promoting multi-sector involvement and collaboration.
- Build Trust and Collaboration: Foster trust between stakeholders, supporting the development of collaborative solutions and consensus around environmental aims.
- Develop Engagement Strategies: Create an engagement program that leads to shared decision-making and prioritization of environmental improvements and investment within catchments.
- Bridge Technical and Collaborative Work: Develop a good understanding of technical concepts and goals, working with stakeholders across different sectors to drive collaborative decision-making.
- Lead Point of Contact: Act as the lead point of contact with agricultural sector representatives, including the National Farmers Union, Country Land Business Association, and Water for Food Group.
- Support WfFG: Support the Water for Food Group in developing a Water Abstractor Group toolkit, outlining how groups can work together to understand their water needs and find solutions.
- Local Resource Option Screening: Support Local Resource Option screening studies, taking a lead role in stakeholder mapping and engagement.
- Agriculture Forum: Run the Agriculture Forum, developing a framework for integrating agriculture into regional planning approaches.
- Support the Team: Support the team in the day-to-day running of the 'virtual' office, contributing to all aspects of the team's activities.
