About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stakeholder Lead to join our team at Water Resources East. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in leading stakeholder engagement and facilitating multi-sector involvement in our Environmental Destination investigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the stakeholder engagement process for the Environmental Destination investigations, ensuring multi-sector input and collaboration.
  • Build trust and relationships with stakeholders, including regulators, water companies, farming groups, and environmental organizations.
  • Develop and implement an engagement program that leads to shared decision-making and prioritization of environmental improvements and investment within catchments.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for agricultural sector representatives and support the development of a Water Abstractor Group (WAG) toolkit.
  • Support Local Resource Option (LRO) screening studies and run WRE's Agriculture Forum to develop a framework for integrating agriculture into WRE's regional planning approach.
