We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stakeholder Lead to join our team at Water Resources East. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a critical role in planning and delivering a programme of stakeholder engagement to support the development of a Regional Water Resources Plan for Eastern England.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the engagement process for Environmental Destination investigations, gathering multi-sector input and ensuring plans and strategies balance sector requirements with environmental protection.
- Direct day-to-day leadership of a stakeholder engagement programme, promoting and facilitating multi-sector involvement and building trust between parties.
- Develop an engagement programme that leads to shared decision-making and prioritisation of environmental improvements and investment within catchments.
- Act as WRE's lead point of contact with agricultural sector representatives and support the development of a WAG toolkit.
- Support Local Resource Option screening studies and run WRE's Agriculture Forum to develop a framework for integrating agriculture into WRE's regional planning approach.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and programme management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and facilitate collaboration between multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of water resources planning and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
