At Rainbows Hospice, we are excited to announce a vacancy within our Estates and Facilities Team. We are in search of a highly organized and meticulous individual to take on the role of Facilities Operations Coordinator. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in facilitating the seamless execution of our daily operations.

This role demands a seasoned and systematic administrator capable of efficiently managing their tasks and adhering to deadlines. While prior experience in health and safety is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite as comprehensive training will be provided.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Estates and Facilities team.
  • Oversee and maintain the risk register along with the health and safety database.
  • Assist in the documentation and reporting of Health & Safety incidents.
  • Manage essential documents including policies, procedures, and audit schedules.
  • Support the team in organizing safety initiatives and ensuring documentation is maintained for auditing purposes.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.
  • Capability to review, audit, and revise policies and procedures effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in IT applications including Database management, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Having knowledge or experience in health and safety practices would be advantageous.

Important Note:

This position requires an Enhanced/Basic DBS Check and pre-employment screenings.
