About the Role
Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
- Provide technical support and assistance to staff and stakeholders.
- Complete all onboarding and offboarding requirements to ensure equipment is provided/reclaimed, new starters have the correct access, and leavers' accounts are disabled.
- Have a strong understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and portal administration.
- Work through your own ticket queue to SLA requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems Support or equivalent and have in-depth knowledge of all Microsoft packages, including SharePoint, Teams Voice, and Portal administration.
You will also have demonstrable experience of working in a large organization supporting IT services, with extensive experience of PC hardware, operating systems, and applications software, including configuration, delivery, and installation of PCs, monitors, terminals, printers, and peripherals.
