We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Educator to join our dynamic team. As an SEN Educator at Buzz Learning, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored learning experiences and support to students with Special Educational Needs. You will work with students aged 11-24, assisting them in their academic, social, and emotional development in line with our inclusive ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons customized to meet the individual needs of our students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere to enhance the personal and academic growth of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external organizations to effectively address the holistic needs of students.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies to facilitate student progress and success.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Special Education Needs (SEN) or a relevant subject area.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
