Job Overview

Primary HLTA (SEN Experience) Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary HLTA (SEN Experience) to join our team of education professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with class teachers to develop and implement targeted support and interventions for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
  • Implement effective strategies to support students with a range of SEN, including behavioral, emotional, and learning difficulties.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adapting support as necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Work with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Primary HLTA with a focus on SEN.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and experience in implementing effective support strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Relevant qualifications and training in SEN support.
