At Protocol Education, we're seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team in a Special Needs School. As a Care Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing one-to-one support and working with classes to make a meaningful impact on the students you support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing sensory awareness and enhancing motor skills in students
  • Providing individualised care as per care plans and ensuring the well-being of students
  • Teaching vocabulary and fostering speech and language development in students
  • Facilitating creative lessons such as art, cooking, music, and dance to promote social and cognitive growth

As a Care Support Worker, you'll work alongside dedicated teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You'll have the opportunity to work in schools serving students at the primary, secondary, and post-16 levels, each with their own unique needs.

We're looking for an individual with the skills and passion to make a difference in the lives of our students. If you're a teaching assistant with a background in the care sector, this opportunity allows you to apply your skills in the dynamic world of special needs education.

Key details include:

  • Full-time Position: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Contract: Secure a year-long contract with potential for extension
  • One-to-One Support: Provide personalised support for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work alongside dedicated teachers and staff
  • Residential Opportunities: Option to work in the school's residential centre for a more immersive experience
