GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health challenges in our secondary client schools.
Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Support students with their emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources, collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ) is desirable.
- Experience working with secondary school students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting the well-being and development of students, with a focus on creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
