Receptionist - Patient Experience Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Receptionist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As the first point of contact for patients, carers, visitors, and staff, you will play a vital role in providing a welcoming and positive experience for everyone accessing our service.
This is a full-time position working 08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday, covering two of our Learning Disability Service sites. You will be responsible for dealing with enquiries, answering and directing telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, and notifying the appropriate person of their arrival.
Main Responsibilities- First Point of Contact: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, carers, visitors, and staff.
- Visitor Management: Ensure the visitor book is completed as required.
- Meeting Room Coordination: Be responsible for meeting room bookings and provide refreshments as requested.
- Customer Enquiries: Deal with customer enquiries and general enquiries by telephone and in person.
- Communication: Receive and communicate messages accurately.
- Mail Administration: Administer the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Reception Area Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is maintained to a high standard.
- Clinic Room Management: Ensure all clinic rooms and meeting rooms are available for use.
- Telephone Management: Ensure appropriate use of the telephone system to enable redirection of calls.
- Administrative Support: Carry out basic typing duties and scanning as required.
- Key Register Maintenance: Maintain the key register.
- Cover Arrangements: Provide cover in cases of sickness or absence.
