We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at WCS Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial performance of our Water Division, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in managing complex financial processes, analyzing financial data, and providing financial insights to stakeholders. You will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of financial professionals.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the financial performance of the Water Division, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Providing strategic financial guidance to the business, including financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Leading a team of financial professionals, including management accountants and financial analysts.
  • Developing and implementing financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and timely.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with 5 years management accounts experience gained in industry.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Experience in managing complex financial processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Financial performance of the Water Division to be managed and reported accurately and timely.
  • Financial analysis and recommendations to be provided to the business on a regular basis.
  • Team performance to be managed and developed, with regular feedback and coaching.
