About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at Arrow Financial Business. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and payroll processes, ensuring internal and external compliance, and providing financial expertise to the business.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar accounting role, with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will be responsible for producing financial reports, managing fixed assets, and maintaining customer master files. Additionally, you will support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with SOX, UK GAAP, and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, inventory, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Manage fixed assets, capex processing, and compliance with policy.
  • Maintain customer master files, including credit approvals and internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audits, including implementing and enhancing controls for SOX, UK GAAP, and tax compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, CIS, and duty returns.
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You should have previous experience in a similar accounting role and be able to demonstrate a strong passion for finance. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and analytical skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
