We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at WCS Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the management accounting function and providing financial guidance to the business.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in managing a team and providing financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders.

You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, as well as providing financial guidance to the business to support strategic decision-making.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and who is committed to delivering high-quality financial information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management accounting function and provide financial guidance to the business
  • Manage a team of financial analysts and provide training and development opportunities
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders, including the board of directors and senior management
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, including the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Provide financial guidance to the business to support strategic decision-making
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with 5 years management accounts experience gained in industry
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excel skill at advanced level
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility by adapting work in line with changing priorities
  • Demonstrates team working and willingness to help others
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 an advantage
