Business Intelligence Manager

Thank you for your interest in the Data and Communications Manager position at SHAL Housing Limited.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take the strategic lead in ensuring that our organization has the data needed to support decision making, operational delivery, governance, training, and effective communication to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and resolution of gaps in systems and processes to continually develop business capacity to deliver our strategic mission and organizational purpose.
- Maintain, analyze, integrate, and communicate performance, service, stock, tenant, and governance data to drive continual improvement, prevent problems, understand diversity, and drive value for money.
- Support Operational Managers and the Executive by ensuring data collection management and maintenance systems are used effectively throughout the organization and relevant and timely communication is planned and implemented.
- Manage business improvement projects evidenced by tenants and stock survey results, the analysis of our stock and tenant data, and the skills gaps identified within our team as we meet current and future challenges.
- Manage the procurement and maintenance of software and IT systems currently in use and ensure they are kept under review, making sure they are aligned with emerging priorities and business needs.
- Lead the development of SHAL colleagues and board members across the business to maximize digital and IT capacity.
- Develop with our suppliers and colleagues full system integration, including digital applications and communications to improve service delivery.
- Lead the co-creation of a communication and information strategy with Board members, colleagues, tenants, and partners that demonstrates the value SHAL brings to the communities we serve and enhances dialogue, mutual trust, partnership working, and celebrates the diversity of our team, our communities, and our work.
Person Specification:
- Knowledge of data collection, management, and insight generation.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment in which SHAL Housing Limited operates.
- Knowledge of Information Systems, smart technology, and CRM Systems.
- Able to use and manage data and create reports with clear recommendations using relevant software.
- Skilled at getting the best out of people and making them feel able and willing to contribute while challenging them to improve how they work.
- Experience of working with customers to obtain feedback that has led to service improvements.
- Methodical, attention to detail, thorough, and able to prioritize and organize own and others' work with little supervision.
- Experience of managing systems and documents to support service delivery.
- Skilled in the use of social media to communicate brand and purpose.
- Good administrative skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Flexible and open to change.
- Patient and calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
